CAMBRIDGE PROGRAMS

To be effective, a program has to march your goals and lifestyle. The more closely a weight loss or nutritional program fits your individual needs, the more successful you will be in meeting your goals. Cambridge Nutrition and Weight Management Systems gives you flexibility, yet guidance.

There is no right or wrong time to take your Cambridge servings as long as you have three servings each day. Most commonly, Cambridge servings are taken at regular mealtimes. You can combine your servings, for the Original Cambridge formula; use 1-1/2 scoops twice a day, if you are on the Regular Program. When combining your servings of the Food For Life formula, use 3 scoops twice a day. You will receive all your daily requirements in just two servings. As you can see, staying on track with Cambridge is easy and very flexible!

How to pick your Program
. If you have 15 pounds or less to lose and you are willing to go without conventional food for up to 2 weeks - the Fast Start Program is for you.

If you want to eat conventional food in the form of meals and.or snacks in addition to Cambridge and your weight loss goal is from five to 500 pounds or more - the Regular Program is for you.

If your goal is to maintain your weight or simply to add a balanced nutritional edge to the foods you already enjoy - the Weight Maintenance & Lifetime Nutrition Program is the answer.

The Regular Weight Loss Program

The program is suitable for any weight loss goal and can be adopted to any lifestyle. It combines 3 servings of the Cambridge shakes or bars with one calorie controlled meal per day. Two conventional meals (usually breakfast and lunch) are replaced by Cambridge meals. The third meal is preceded with a Cambridge meal approximately one half hour before normal meal time. The meal can be limited to 400 calories. Larger or more active persons may need additional calories, have them check with their physician. At least eight 8-ounce glasses of water or other non-caloric beverages should be consumed over the course of the day.

The Fast Start Weight Loss Program

The Fast Start Weight Loss Program will produce the largest amount of weight loss in the shortest amount of time. The program is very simple and easy to follow. Just consume 3 servings of the Food For Life Formula or 4 servings of the Original formula per day at normal meal times. Eat no conventional food of any kind and drink a minimum of eight 8 ounce glasses of water or other non-caloric beverage. This program is normally recommended as a "quick-fix" for those with the programs for periods in excess of 2 weeks should be monitored by their physician.

The Weight Maintenance Program

This program is designed for persons coming off one of the Cambridge weight loss programs. Under this program users continue to consume Cambridge meals but gradually increase the amount of conventional food and decrease the number of Cambridge meals until weight stabilizes. Most users find that replacing 1 or 2 meals from conventional food with Cambridge meals while enjoying a wide variety of conventional foods in a second and/or third meal works best. If weight begins to be regained, simply reduce the amount of conventional food and replace it with another Cambridge meal.

The Lifetime Nutrition Program

This program is the companion program to the Weight Maintenance Program. It is designed to benefit everyone, regardless of their weight. For maximum benefit users should consume 3 Cambridge servings per day as a meal, as part of a meal or as a snack. This insures that the user is receiving 100% of all the vitamins and minerals required for good health and they need not worry about the relative nutritional content of their regular meals.
